Long Beach, NY - City by the Sea - Happy Pride, 2017

City by the Sea - Happy Pride, 2017

All the generations were here, grandmas to teens and tots, and the mood was euphoric in the 1st annual Gay Pride Parade held in Long Beach, NY.

The celebration, consisting of concerts, a carnival, fair and festival, was spread out over an entire weekend.

Participants came from near and far - Riverhead, NY, Orlando, FL and Montreal, CA and Long Beach was well prepared with security, sanitation, parking alternatives, medical aid and relief stations.

All in all, a very successful first in this new venue and sure to become a "must-see" in the years to come.

Long Beach exudes a warm and welcoming vibe to all, reminiscent of Greenwich Village in New York City.

Visit our City by the Sea and find your space to breathe.
